On Attitude and Skills
As a leadership trainer, I’ve learned that there are two key levers to help leaders grow:
1️⃣ Improving their skills
2️⃣ Changing their attitudeWhen these two align, you’ll see the real transformation—because learning manifests in behavior change.
One thing we often overlook is how immersive experiences shape attitudes. When people are placed in new situations,
their perspectives shift. And with a shift in perspective comes a change in behavior.
During interviews, we focus on qualifications—skills, abilities, education. But interviews also give us a glimpse into a person’s attitude. That’s where the real potential lies.
The good news? Attitudes aren’t static. As leaders, we can model the right attitude and create environments that inspire others to follow.
